For recommended Watch Assistants or Watch Leaders
Ideal refresher for existing Watch Leaders and Youth Mentors
Intensive course with plenty of hands-on training
Meals onboard are included

This two-night Watch Leader and Youth Mentor training course is open to anyone who has been recommended for a Watch Assistant or Watch Leader role.

For experienced Watch Leaders this is an opportunity to refresh your skills. New Watch Leaders will benefit from meeting with other volunteers and finding out more about this rewarding and important role.

This is an intensive course, where you’ll sail the Solent onboard one of our Challenger yachts, while covering both technical training and youth work.

We’ll aim to have a full sailing day on the Saturday and concentrate on ‘alongside’ activities on the Sunday.

While every effort will be made to deliver the above voyage content sometimes, due to weather and crew’s ability, the content may need to change.

By the end, you’ll be fully equipped with the necessary skills, confidence and knowledge to take on this important and rewarding role.
