Get a taste of adventure and set sail for an unforgettable day out.
Whether you are a complete novice looking for something different to do on a weekend, or a keen sailor wanting to experience the thrill of sailing a 72ft Challenger, our day sails are guaranteed to be enjoyed by all!
This voyage welcomes participants aged 12 to 80, with young people under 18 accompanied by an adult.
Following a short safety briefing we’ll head out into the Solent and quickly get you involved in learning how to handle these iconic yachts. You’ll have the opportunity to have a go at sail handling, ropework, tacking and even helming!
Of course, if you prefer to sit back and let our expert crew take care of the sailing while you enjoy the sea air, that’s OK too!
Whatever you decide, we want you to know that your participation in this event, supports our youth development voyages, which offer an adrenaline-charged catalyst for change in those aged 12 to 25.
Over the course of the day, our expert sailing staff will share the history of our iconic Challenger yachts – which have all raced around the world twice as part of the BT Global Challenge races in the early 2000s.
