I work as a Youth Support Worker with the Youth Development & Outdoor Learning team. I have been sailing with Tall Ships since 2021 and still haven’t found my sea legs!
Please tell us a bit about your role at Tall Ships Youth Trust
My role as a Youth Support Worker is to help young people who come through Tall Ships find their true potential! Whether it be a career in the maritime sector, all the way to sharing their experiences and providing others with an experience to last a lifetime.
Young People are the face of Tall Ships and they deserve to feel empowered and confident
What has been your most memorable moment at Tall Ships Youth Trust?
My most memorable moment would have to be meeting so many amazing young people! The stories I’ve heard, the places I’ve seen wouldn’t mean anything if it weren’t for the young people. Every voyage is different and unique in its own special way!
What is one thing you think people should know about Tall Ships Youth Trust?
You never get over the magic of slipping lines and embarking on a voyage that you’ll remember for a lifetime!
