Please tell us a bit about yourself
I’ve worked in the charity sector for most of my career, with experience in most areas of fundraising. Prior to this I worked in marketing. I love feeling like my job is making a difference. I’m also a coach and love helping others reach their potential through that too.
I have a lovely nursery-aged daughter, who keeps me busy. Alongside work and family time, we are refurbishing our house ourselves, which is a big task including moving walls! We also have a vintage campervan we are doing up retro style. Lot’s on our plate – but really looking forward to family trips away once the projects are complete.
Please tell us a bit about your role at Tall Ships Youth Trust?
My role as Philanthropy Lead involves working with individuals who are making a significant contribution to TSYT, including Trustees, Development Leads and Major Donors. It’s lovely helping these individuals improve the lives of our young beneficiaries.
What has been your most memorable moment?
It’s very rewarding having a donor tell me how amazing the charity is and the impact they’ve seen for themselves that we have on young lives. The passion of our supporters is inspiring.
What is one thing you think people should know about Tall Ships Youth Trust?
We are a small but very motivated and hardworking team.
