Please tell us a bit about yourself
I joined TSYT in 2012 as a fundraiser, having previously worked in marketing.
I have two sons and a springer spaniel and when not at work, I love spending time with my family. We particularly like going to Devon and Cornwall as much as we can.
Please tell us a bit about your role at Tall Ships Youth Trust
I am the Fundraising Manager at TSYT. I have a focus on Trusts and Foundations but oversee all areas of fundraising at the Trust.
The role is very full-on! However, it is all worthwhile when you see the impact our voyages have on the young people we support.
What has been your most memorable moment at Tall Ships Youth Trust?
There have been a few… hearing the success stories of young people keeps me motivated though.
What is one thing you think people should know about Tall Ships Youth Trust?
Everyone at Tall Ships Youth Trust – the team at the hub, the TSYT sailing crew, our wonderful volunteers and supporters – is striving to achieve the same goal – to provide young people with genuinely life-changing opportunities at sea.
Please describe your job in three words
Challenging. Engrossing. Rewarding.
If you were famous, what would you be famous for?
Are you saying you don’t know who I am?!
