Please tell us a bit about yourself
I started sailing dinghies when I was six year old, by 18, I’d moved onto windsurfing, which I have done ever since.
Throughout that time I’ve also sailed on yachts, but much more so recently, and I’m still learning lots!
Please tell us a bit about your role at Tall Ships Youth Trust
My role at TSYT is to help keep everyone safe on board and make sure everyone has a great time.
Learning and personal development take care of themselves once people feel safe and are having fun.
What has been your most memorable moment at Tall Ships Youth Trust?
Sailing past the Needles on a Challenger, accompanied by a pod of dolphins and watching the looks of awe and glee on the young crew. Amazing life-changing experiences can happen in our own backyard!
What is one thing you think people should know about Tall Ships Youth Trust?
Every week young people do something that they never believed they could, and they discover that they are good at it.
