Today we boarded the Ketch and we were shown around the boat. We were then informed of the safety measures of the boat. Before we began sailing, we learnt knots to tie up our fenders and our springs, e.g. Clove-Hitch and Oxo, to prepare for leaving Portsmouth harbour. Once sailing we had a race around the boat where we were not meant to unclip from the jackstays. After we reached our anchor point, we prepared our beds and relaxed before cooking Fajitas.
