Tall Ships Youth Trust is taking part in the #CaptainTom100 to celebrate the legacy of Captain Sir Tom Moore and raise funds for our work in supporting the UK’s most disadvantaged young people with life changing experiences at sea.
Friday 30th April would have been Captain Sir Tom Moore’s 101st birthday and to celebrate his legacy, his family are encouraging the nation to take part in a fundraising challenge for a charity of their choice.
So why not take on the #CaptainTom100 challenge and raise funds for Tall Ships?
It couldn’t be easier, base your fundraising challenge around the number 100 and carry it out between Friday 30th April and Bank Holiday Monday 2nd May. It can be whatever you like – sail 100 miles, bake 100 cakes, perform 100 backflips, watch 100 hours of a classic TV box set or follow in Captain Sir Tom’s footsteps by walking 100 laps of your garden. The choices are endless, it’s entirely up to you!
