Please tell us a bit about yourself

I’ve recently graduated from a Multimedia Broadcast Journalism course.

I’m originally from Morecambe in the North-West of England, I then moved to Brighton for three years where I attended University and now, I live in Portsmouth, so I’ve always lived by the sea!

I enjoy travelling, baking, and going to gigs.

Please tell us a bit about your role at Tall Ships Youth Trust?

As a Marketing and Content Coordinator, I work with the rest of the fundraising and marketing team to help grow Tall Ships Youth Trust’s supporter base and promote the important work that we do.

What has been your most memorable moment?

Seeing one of our young ambassadors Katie, give an amazing talk at the British Classic Week Regatta about her journey from sleeping rough, and being in trouble with the police, through to her life-changing voyage with Tall Ships Youth Trust and her newfound success with work and a modelling contract!

What is one thing you think people should know about Tall Ships Youth Trust?

A voyage with us isn’t just about ‘learning to sail’. We are a youth development charity that helps young people to fulfil their true potential by using the experience of sailing as part of a team, to enable them to learn new skills, face new challenges and discover new horizons.
