Please tell us a bit about yourself

Former Director of Marketing and External Relations at Montessori Group. Previously, very fortunate to live in the Galapagos Islands for 3 years, working for the Charles Darwin Foundation conservation charity as Head of Marketing, Communications and Digital Fundraising.

From Rotherham originally but now Salisbury is my home (it’s too cold up t’north). Married and recently became a father to my gorgeous daughter Floreana. Big sports fan and Liverpool FC supporter. Also, a keen albeit tortoise-paced runner, house DJ and happy traveler (pre-child!).

Please tell us a bit about your role at Tall Ships Youth Trust?

I lead the fundraising and marketing/communications team to raise vital funds to take children out to sea and increase
the profile of the charity.

What has been your most memorable moment?

Still early days in the role but so far, seeing the amazing response of our supporter network in helping the charity
get though the Covid-19 pandemic.

What is one thing you think people should know about Tall Ships Youth Trust?

That the young people genuinely do have life-changing experiences on board – this is not marketing fluff but an outcome of the work we do.

If you were famous, what would you be famous for?

I think I already am. I once appeared as an extra in a Colombian novella (soap opera).
