Voyage Highlights

Experience real adventure sailing and discover the quiet charm and natural beauty of the Channel Islands on this 4 night Channel Islands Adventure.

Once you arrive and get your bearings on the boat, the aim will be to leave straight away and experience exhilarating overnight sailing to arrive in the Channel Islands the following morning. Depending on the weather conditions route plans, which will be discussed with your Skipper at the start of the voyage, you may go to Alderney, Sark or Guernsey. If weather conditions allow, you should have plenty of time to explore these fascinating islands before setting the sails again to head back to Gunwharf Quays.

By the end of the voyage you will have gained hands-on experience of helming, sail handling, ropework and be aware of safety on board.

Whilst this voyage is open to all abilities, you will experience challenging sailing through some of the busiest shipping lanes in Europe and through complex tides, making this the perfect stepping stone for those who have sailed the South Coast and are now looking for something a little more demanding.

There is a possibility you could be recommended to the Trust by the Skipper to come back and volunteer as a Watch Assistant or Watch Leader for future Tall Ships voyages.

Whilst every effort will be made to deliver the above voyage content sometimes, due to weather and crew’s ability, the content may need to change. Please see below for our full Conditions of Booking.

Did you know by sailing with Tall Ships you will be supporting vulnerable young people from all over the UK? Proceeds from these voyages help to fund our charity's highly effective Youth Work, which offers an adrenaline-charged catalyst for change in those aged 12 to 25. This isn’t just a sailing experience, it is an exhilarating, big-hearted, philanthropic journey.
