Four students from Limes College join us on Challenger 4 for 4-nights. Follow their journey below.

Day 2

Tuesday, 25 June

On the second day, we left Cowe’s port and set sail towards the needles. The water was so calm when we left the channel and headed towards the old Harry rocks. I think it was about six hours to get from port to where we anchored up. When we anchored up, we blew up the dinghy and went jumping off the boat.

At first, I was very scared about jumping in from the low part of the boat and when I finally jumped in, I was so happy, all I wanted to do after that was keep jumping into the point where I jumped off the guard wires at the front of the boat.  After that we were just chilling by the cliffs and sight-seeing, and we watched the jet skis come flying past.

Day 3

Wednesday, 26 June

This morning, we woke up and had a lovely breakfast which was bacon rolls and egg rolls, then proceeded to sit at the top of the boat, fished out rubbish from the sea and sailed off to Lymington because there was no wind. When we got in, we all climbed to the top of the mast! We went into town and did some shopping, we came back to the boat to go and do some swimming at the pool, which also had great inflatables that we had a lot of fun, and all enjoyed it. We had some rest time when we came back and then we had some dinner from a fish and chips shop. We had showers and then got ready to get sleep.
