London Nautical School join us on CH2 for a 4-night voyage. Follow their journey below.

Day 1

Monday, 23 September

We began our day by arriving towards Portsmouth the historical naval dock, I had feeling that I felt comfortable on the boat and “needed”. (Immediately we got introduced to the crew and joined it) We also learnt how to prepare the boat for sailing, Tether ourselves onto the boat and flaked the sail etc. Afterwards we set out of the port of Portsmouth, the weather was dull and the waves were pretty high, the wind was quite strong, most of us were hanging out at the front of the ship, enjoying the views. Once we arrived we split into watches, one cooked dinner while the other managing the boat. Before dinner we did a small colours ceremony and dropped the ensign. Finally we enjoyed the fajitas cooked by one of our watchers. After all that we went to the showers, played cards & Monopoly and got ready to bed.

We were going fast because of high wind speeds
