Discover the thrill of sailing down the South East Coast of England from Ipswich to London

Join the iconic Challenger yacht in Ipswich where you will spend the first day getting to know the vessel and your crew. Your voyage will begin with a thorough safety briefing before heading out of Ipswich into the North Sea and following the East coast to London. you will be put into teams (on board we call these Watches) to begin learning basic sailing techniques and complete duties throughout the day and night.

Over the following days you will build your sailing knowledge whilst having fun and making friends. You will be involved with all aspects of sailing the yacht from looking after the boat to cooking and cleaning. You will extend your sailing knowledge by experiencing watch systems and night sailing. Once you set the sails, you may have the chance to visit English towns of Harwich, Ramsgate, Dover and Queensborough.

This is a fantastic opportunity to sail into London on one of our iconic Challenger yachts.

Whilst every effort will be made to deliver the above voyage content sometimes, due to weather and crew’s ability, some of the highlights described above may need to change.
