Life on Board Brochure & Voyages
TALL SHIPS VOYAGE PROGRAMMES
We sail all year round - in and around Europe and the UK from April to November and further afield in the Winter months - the Azores, Canaries and Caribbean.

We aim to maximise the amount of sailing on every voyage and often visit foreign ports where possible.
Everyone gets involved in sailing the vessel.

It's a 24-hour job. When you get on board you'll join a watche under the expert guidance of a Watch Leader.

You'll learn how to set the sails, handle the ropes, take the helm, keep a proper lookout and be involved in all the other varied tasks that keep a vessel sailing.
It's not all work. When you're off watch you'll have time to take in the splendour of sailing at sea, write a postcard or two or chat to new friends.

In port you'll have a chance to take in local sights and sounds.
GET QUALIFIED!
As part of a willing crew you could qualify for the Royal Yachting Association's Competent Crew certificate or the residential section of the Gold Award for the Duke of Edinburgh's award scheme.

The Department for Education and Skills supports our work with young people on Tall Ships.
